The Overlord Show 2016

The Overlord Show at Denmead, Hampshire is the perfect way to start your Normandy trip, close to Portsmouth and only a few days before the 72nd anniversary of the D Day landings.

Organised by the SOE military vehicle club, the show was well attended by military vehicles, reenactors and the public. The show is growing every year and its not hard to see why. A great selection of WW2 vehicles and the displays by the reenactors was outstanding, there was also a very good selection of pre WW2 and post war military vehicles and displays. In the arena there were vehicle demonstrations together with the reenactors putting on a very spectacular display, with commentary by Mark Harvey. One of the nice things about this show, was that it was very friendly, the organisers were helpful and it had a very relaxed feel about it. If you haven't been to the Overlord Show, put it in the diary for next year. The gallery is a small selection of Military vehicles and reenactors displays.
